We Love Sleep Founder Awarded

Every year the Sheffield Star highlights 35 under 35's for their achievements in their respective fields. Our founder James Wilson was one of those honoured this year. They had this to say about him....

"Doncaster-born James graduated in Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and began his career in the Caravan Products division of Electrolux (now known as Dometic) in Luton before returning to work in the family furniture business, supplying major retailers and independent bed shops.

He decided to set up We Love Sleep in 2007 fter becoming frustrated by how big companies marketed sleep. He says: " I wanted to offer a wide range of products that can help people get a better night's sleep and also give honest and knowledgeable advice, ensuring they have all the information they need to make the correct decision.

Now regarded as a leading expert on sleep products, the company has attracted wide media coverage and recently secured funding from a private investor to help fund future growth.

James' long term aims include a chain of shops. Outside the business he is a business mentor for young people and, for the last two years, was a judge in the Young Enterprise South Yorkshire final.
