Bamboo fabric is hypoallergenic and highly dust mite resistant, making it ideal for those prone to Allergies and Asthma

It is three times more absorbent than cotton - it wicks away moisture, so it is cool in summer and warm in winter, leaving you sleeping soundly all throughout the year

Some Facts About The Bamboo Used In Our Duvets

There’s no need to worry about Giant Pandas - The bamboo fabric is made of Moso, Dragon and Ci Bamboo, which is not the type of bamboo that pandas eat

Bamboo is a fully sustainable crop. It grows very quickly and can be harvested every 3 years. It then renews itself without need of replanting. In its cultivation it absorbs more CO2 and produces 35% more oxygen than an equivalent area of trees and it not irrigated like cotton is - it relies simply on rainfall. The yield from an acre of bamboo is 10 times greater than the yield you get from cotton

Bamboo fabric has long term antibacterial efficacy - greater than 70% even after 50 industrial washings (Japan Textile Inspection Association)

The bamboo viscose fibre has gained Oeko-Tex Standard 100 product class 1 for baby articles. This is an internationally accepted quality and safety standard

The bamboo is grown organically and is certified organic with OCIA International Organic Certification. The OCIA is accredited by The International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM)

Available in a 4.5 tog, 9 tog and by buttoning the two together a 13.5 tog for winter

4.5 tog = Summer weight (250gsm)

9 tog = Spring / autumn weight (500gsm). In many well heated homes the 9 tog duvet is suitable for year round use

13.5 tog = 2 duvets combined for cold winter use

100% bamboo – the bamboo fabric duvet shell is filled with super soft bamboo viscose floss
