What are the Health Benefits?

For Acne

• 37 patients who suffer from Acne recently completed a study at the Dermatology Department of Wake Forest University
• Although the full results are not yet in 40% of those who took part found an improvment in the amount of lesions on their face
• 35% found a reduction in the amount of non-inflamatory lesions while 45% found a reduction in the amount of inflamatory lesions

How It Works

• The softness of bedding usually comes from a high thread count. This creates something called "the parachute effect," which is where there are no gaps between the threads, so moisture cannot escape. This means that for softness you have to compromise on the temperature in your bed because there is no airflow so your body temperature stays high and you cannot sleep. With DermaTherapy Bedding there is no compromise, it is soft and you do not overheat
• DermaTherapy Bedding is constructed from uniquely shaped microfibres that channel moisture away from the skin and distribute it evenly over the whole surface of the bedding, keeping your skin dry and minimising skin irritation
• DermaTherapy Bedding is 37% smoother than cotton sheets, this minimises friction with the skin and stops your condition becoming inflamed
• The fabric used is lint free; lint is made up of loose fibres that can irritate sensitive and broken skin. Being lint free means the fibre doesn't wear out as quickly as conventional bedding
• The bedding has a durable anti-microbial finish that helps maintain fabric freshness and eliminates odor caused by bacteria and fungi 

Washing Instructions 

• DermaTherapy Bedding can be washed with any detergent up to a temperature of 60ºC
• Do not use bleach or a fabric conditioner or it will lose its ability to wick away moisture
• DermaTherapy Bedding can be air-dried or in a tumble drier on a cool setting
• If you wish to iron the DermaTherapy Bedding please use a cool setting
