About the Divan Bed 

How is the Divan Bed Made? 

• The Divan Bed has a box frame and uses Pine timber to give a strong, supportive construction
• The Divan Bed has a sprung top, which works in conjunction with the Mattress to give you a sleep surface that offers excellent support
• The Divan Bed is finished off in Belgian Damask, including threads of anti dust mite fibre, that provide an impenetrable barrier to dust mites and give you the perfect Anti Allergy Bed

• The Divan Bed is available with or without drawers. The drawers can come in many different variations to fit your bedroom layout.  We normally sell them with either 2 or 4 drawers but other configurations are available. Please give us a call to discuss how many drawers you would like and where in the base you would like them   

About the Mattress 

What is a Pocket Sprung Mattress? 

• A Pocket Sprung Mattress has a spring unit where each individual spring moves independently. This is unlike the traditional open sprung unit, where all the springs move as one
• Because of this, a Pocket Sprung Mattress feels denser and more supportive than an Open Sprung Mattress and is perfect if you and your partner are different weights  
• There are 1000 Springs in the Pocket Unit (150x200cm), giving you superb support 
  

 How is it Made?

• The Mattress and Divan Bed are hand made by a company based only a couple of miles from We Love Sleep. They have over 100 years experience of mattress making and are the market leaders when it comes to manufacturing healthy mattresses
• The Mattress has a pocket sprung core and 8 layers of healthy fillings, including New Zealand Wool to add to the comfort of the sleep surface
• The Mattress has a stretch Knitted Cover, which has threads of Cashmere running thorough it, giving a soft, snuggly sleep surface. It also has the anti dust mite threads running through it, which kill off the micro-organisms the dust mites feed on 
• It is hand tufted and has 4 handles for ease of turning
  
• The Mattress has 4 ventilators, which allow a regular air flow, letting the Mattress breathe

Other Information

• We would describe this mattress as medium firmness. Unfortunately in the Bedding Industry there are no set guidelines on firmness of mattresses so one company's firm may be anothers standard/medium. We would advise that if you and your partner are heavy, a firm mattress may be a better option. Please ring if you wish to discuss this further with us

Delivery Information

• We offer a 2 man delivery service on this product, who will take the Mattress and Divan Bed to the room of your choice
• We can offer an AM or PM delivery service and we will ring you an hour before we are due to deliver
• The Mattress and Divan Bed are made to order, and take about 7-14 Days to make by hand. When the Mattress and Divan Bed are ready we will call you, and delivery should be 7-10 Days thereafter
