About the Divan Bed

How is the Divan Bed Made?

• The Divan Bed has a box frame and uses Pine timber to give a strong, supportive construction
• The Divan Bed has a solid platform top, which has supporting pine struts and a chipboard top
• The Divan Bed is finished off in the same micro fibre Belgian Damask as the mattress, including threads of anti dustmite fibre, that provide an impenatrable barrier to dust mites and gives you the perfect Anti Allergy Bed

• The Divan Bed is available with or without drawers. The drawers can come in many different variations to fit how your bedroom is set out.  We normally sell them with either 2 or 4 drawers but other configurations are available. Please give us a call to discuss how many drawers you would like and where in the base you would like them 

About the Mattress 

What is an Open Sprung Mattress? 

• An Open Sprung Mattress is also known as an Open Coil Mattress or a Bonnell Mattress
• All the Springs in the Mattress move as one, it is a very durable spring system and provides a supportive surface on which to snooze
• This Mattress has a medium/firm feel to it, which comes from it having a 13 gauge spring unit and 12 layers of hypo-allergenic fillings  

How is it Made? 

• The Mattress and Divan Base are hand made by a company based only a couple of miles from We Love Sleep. They have over 100 years experience of mattress making and are the market leaders when it comes to manufacturing healthy mattresses
• The Mattress has an open sprung core and 12 layers of healthy fillings to add to the comfort of the sleep surface
• The Mattress is finished in micro quilted Belgian Damask, it is hand tufted and has 4 handles for ease of turning
• The Mattress has 2 ventilators, which allows a regular air flow, letting the Mattress breathe

Delivery Information 

• We offer a 2 man delivery service on this product, who will take the Mattress and Divan Bed to the room of your choice
• We can offer an AM or PM delivery service and will ring you an hour before we are due to deliver
• The Mattress and Divan Bed are made to order, and take about 7-14 Days  to make lovingly by hand. When the Mattress and Divan Bed is ready we will call you, and delivery should be 7-10 Days after that
