What makes the Mattress Organic?

• The materials (Wool and Cotton) that go into our Organic Mattresses use traditional farming techniques that shun fertilisers, chemicals and herbicides, pesticides and fungicides

What is a Pocket Spring/Latex Mattress?

• Combines the luxury of a pocket sprung mattress and the soft supportive surface of Natural Latex
• The Mattress has a spring unit where each individual spring moves independently, unlike the traditional open coil unit, where all the springs move as one
• Because of this a Pocket Sprung Mattress feels denser and more supportive than an Open Coil Mattress and is perfect if you and your partner are different weights  
• Natural Latex comes from the Hueva (rubber tree). The latex we use come from Organic Rubber Trees in Sri Lanka and is certified by a leading European Body as being chemical free

How are they Made?

• They are manufactured by hand in the UK and this mattress has not attained full Organic status yet with the Soil Association but it is currently going through the process. However all the components that go into it are certified Organic 
• The Mattress is made in layers around a large number of strong cotton pockets each of which holds a metal spring. Around these are layers of cotton to protect the springs, on top of which is 3cm layer of Natural Latex, providing ultimate comfort.
• To meet UK fire regulations (BS 7177) without the use of chemical fireproofing the latex-topped pocket spring unit is wrapped in several layers of Organic Welsh Wool making it naturally fire retardant, the whole mattress is then covered in an Organic cotton cover

Delivery Information 

• As standard we offer a one man delivery service on this product free of charge, who deliver to your door but will not be able to bring it into your house. They can deliver anytime between 9-5, but we are able to ask them to ring before they deliver to ensure you are in to recieve the delivery
• For an additional charge there are other delivery options available on this product. The options available are delivery before 9.30, delivery before 12 and weekend delivery. We can also offer a two man delivery service on this product, who will take the mattress to the room of your choice. These options do not appear when you place your order and if you wish to take advantage of them please give us a ring
