Why we know so much about Sleep

Our founder James Wilson is the third generation of his family to be involved with helping people get a better night’s sleep. Within the company we have a combined experience of 61 years working within the sleep industry and a passion for offering real affordable solutions to the problems that many of us suffer from.

The Eureka moment

The idea for We Love Sleep came when James was working for his family’s business who were a supplier of sleep products to bed and bedding retailers. He felt disillusioned with how existing retailers tried to solve sleep problems and the lack of choice customers were offered to give them a better night’s sleep. He saw countless examples of shops simply supplying a product, of not listening to their customers and not offering them the help and advice they needed to solve their sleep problems. Most bed shops will claim to be “sleep experts” but rarely can tell you the benefits of each mattress, let alone offer you a solution outside their narrow product range.

We Love Sleep want to do something about this, to use our passion for all things sleep, to help people find the most cost effective way to solve their sleep problems and to share the knowledge that we had gained during our combined 61 years in the industry. We also wanted to celebrate the bedroom, to make it the sanctuary it should be, so you will spend your day dreaming of going to bed! We will not push you into a sale, and we will not hassle you if you ring us for advice; we will give you the advice you need and let you make a decision free from high pressure sales tactics.

We won’t put the price of a product up so we can half the price later and call it a “50% off sale”; we price our products fairly all year round and regularly run clearance sales where the savings you make are genuine.

There are no hidden costs on our website, the price you see on the page is the price you pay, and there are no nasty surprises waiting for you on the checkout page. Where it is available overnight delivery costs £8.

We are human, sometimes we will make mistakes or situations will occur which are beyond our control. If something doesn’t go quite right we will endeavour to do everything we can to put the situation right, because that is what we would expect others to do for us.
